Financial Assistance for Veterinary Costs
The organizations listed below provide financial assistance to help cover the cost of medical care for companion animals. Each organization is independent and has its own set of rules and guidelines. Services offered by Washoe County Regional Animal Services
- Washoe C.A.R.E.S. provides low-income senior assistance with basic food and veterinary care
- Free microchipping for Washoe County residents Monday – Friday from 10 am – 4 pm
- Vaccination clinics held the first Tuesday of every month from 3 pm – 7 pm
- Senior pet food distribution on the third Tuesday of every month, while supplies last, from 8 am – 10 am
